Meet the Aditude Team: Can you introduce yourself and describe your role at Aditude?

Hi, I’m Ethan — a Software Engineer at Aditude. I work across multiple areas at Aditude including publisher onboarding, ad operations, and development.

Day in the Life: What does a typical day look like for you at Aditude? Walk us through your daily responsibilities.

It’s hard to say exactly what a typical day looks like for me at Aditude, as each day brings a new set of tasks. Lately, my focus has been on onboarding new publishers, which has been a fun and unique challenge. I usually start the day by catching up with Myles or Jared to get a sense of where a publisher stands in the onboarding process and what needs to happen to move them closer to going live with Aditude. From there, I spend a good portion of the day working through action items discussed for new publishers, while also getting pulled into various requests from current publishers — especially my favorite “easy” requests from Yirmi. I typically wrap up the day by creating any new PRs needed for the next day’s release.

Your Journey to Aditude: How did you end up working at Aditude? What inspired you to join the team?

My path to Aditude was a little unconventional, as I started my professional career in the commercial real estate industry. I wasn’t super passionate about the work, but I was fortunate to have a great friend, Josh Robins, who believed I could thrive at Aditude. He introduced me to Jared and Erik, and after speaking with them, it was immediately clear that Aditude had a hardworking, driven, and sense of family culture — and I knew I wanted to be a part of it. Coming in with no previous experience in the Ad Tech space, I’ve approached the last year and a half with a sponge-like mindset and along the way, have developed a real passion for the industry.

Favorite Projects: What has been your most exciting or rewarding project at Aditude so far?

It’s hard to pinpoint one specific project as my favorite, but recently I’ve had the chance to be a big part of improving our onboarding process, which has been an exciting and challenging task that’s pushed me to grow in new ways.

Challenges & Solutions: What are some common challenges you face in your role, and how do you overcome them?

One of the biggest challenges I face is managing a high volume of work and publisher requests, all with the expectation of turning things around as quickly as possible. At Aditude, we pride ourselves on being responsive and moving fast — without sacrificing accuracy. That pace can be overwhelming at times, but staying organized and knowing how to prioritize has really helped me manage it effectively. Another challenge I’ve encountered, especially being relatively new to both ad tech and coding, is occasionally running into gaps in technical or industry knowledge. The best way I’ve found to overcome that is by asking questions. As I mentioned before, Aditude truly operates like a family — and there’s always someone willing to help.

Team Collaboration: How does collaboration with other team members affect your work?

I’m fortunate to have the opportunity to collaborate with team members across all areas of Aditude. I’ve worked closely with the Growth Team, as well as working alongside Yirmi, staring at data. The team-oriented environment at Aditude is a core part of my daily routine — and one of the things I value most.

Career Advice: What advice would you give someone looking to pursue a similar career?

As someone still early in my career, this is a tough one to answer — but if I had to give one piece of advice, it would be to ask as many questions as you can and trust yourself in the process.

Tech & Trends: What emerging technologies or trends are you most excited about in the programmatic advertising space?

One of the tech trends I’m most excited about in the programmatic space is the broader use of AI. There’s so much potential in how it can transform the industry, and I think we’re only beginning to see what it’s capable of.

Memorable Moments: Share a memorable or funny moment you've had while working at Aditude.

I would have to say the most memorable moments I’ve had at Aditude have all taken place at the happiest place on earth, Disney World. Our most recent trip as a company to Disney World was especially memorable as we saw our company double with the acquisition of HTL and it was very exciting to get to see so many new faces. Although, if I had to choose one specific memory, it would be beating Jared on the golf course. We have a fun little rivalry and I currently have the bragging rights.

Future Goals: Where do you see yourself and Aditude heading in the next few years? Any exciting plans or visions for the future?

The plan moving forward is to keep working hard and contributing wherever I can, with a stronger focus on improving our onboarding process and strengthening relationships with our publishers. It’s tough to predict exactly where Aditude will be in a few years, but I know we’ll continue to be a dominant force in the industry.
