Meet the Aditude Team: Can you introduce yourself and describe your role at Aditude?Â
Hey there, I’m Momtchil or better known as Chilly. My primary focus is to help grow our European footprint by identifying potential partners that could benefit from our services and looking at areas where we could collaborate with other vendors more strategically to solve real problems that Publishers are experiencing every day. I also work closely with different Internal departments behind the scenes to stay on top of any unique requests or cutting-edge developments that may be happening (at Aditude there is always a lot going on!).
Day in the Life: What does a typical day look like for you at Aditude? Walk us through your daily responsibilities.Â
Every day is pretty different for me In all honesty, there is always so much to do and never enough time to do everything that I’d like. I try to structure my days as much as possible which typically consists of getting up nice and early (not by choice, I have a 3-year-old), I usually get some time to respond to any urgent emails/messages that require my immediate attention, and plan out what the rest of my day would look like before the school run.Â
My mornings/early afternoons then generally consist of meeting up with clients and potential clients, responding to anything else that may need my attention, and mapping out who else could benefit from what we have to offer(This isn’t always the easiest as we’ve launched something new pretty much every month since I’ve joined).Â
Afternoons/Evenings are usually a mix of reviewing potential collaborations that we can establish outside of our core business and brainstorming with Internal teams on figuring out solutions as well as clearing out any roadblocks that our clients may have. I always prefer to have external meetings in person but I’d say that there is a decent mixture of calls and In-person meetings happening.Â
Your Journey to Aditude: How did you end up working at Aditude? What inspired you to join the team?Â
I already knew about Aditude from my Sovrn days but I never realized how little I knew about the vision and some of the complex problems that Aditude had already solved until I joined the team. I was approached by the Volition talent team and subsequently ended up speaking with Jared, Josh, and Erik who are some of the most Intelligent people that I’ve had the pleasure of working with! I’m wholeheartedly on board with the vision of solving complicated problems for our publishers by becoming essentially a 1 stop shop partner but what really inspired me to join was the work ethic and the outrageous speed at which projects were executed by every single individual. I’d never even heard of any organization pushing out four code releases in a day until I joined Aditude!
Favorite Projects: What has been your most exciting or rewarding project at Aditude so far?Â
Very hard to say but If I had to I’d pick a more recent development, when we launched Aditude Server or Tude Server. We’ve done this countless times but I love it when we bring a product or feature to market that is based on an existing client’s request or came out of a client’s frustration. For anyone who doesn’t know what we are doing with Tude Server, please reach out to me or anyone from the team as It is very in line with what is happening across the market right now for publishers!
Challenges & Solutions: What are some common challenges you face in your role, and how do you overcome them?Â
I would say that the most common challenge that I face is just getting in front of people really. Although we’ve been very successful at what we’ve done, there are still a lot of markets where we are not so well known which can make it difficult to have opening conversations. I’ve always been a big believer in meeting people in person and genuinely sharing valuable Information and helping highlight areas of importance that could be worked on which generally helps overcome the Immediate challenge without becoming too much of a pest.
Team Collaboration: How does collaboration with other team members affect your work?Â
Collaboration is probably the most important aspect of my role here. I need to be a facilitator of any partnership to ensure that both parties are happy. Another critical aspect is to constantly be providing feedback from any conversation that I may have. Even when I may not always feel it to be relevant in a particular meeting, I’ve found that it can spark new Ideas from the technical team which blossoms into something beautiful.
Career Advice: What advice would you give someone looking to pursue a similar career?
I actually think that it can be quite challenging for anyone starting in AdTech right now, the Industry has evolved so much in the last 6-7 years alone that it can be very difficult to keep up to date with everything. For anyone wanting to get into Ad tech- I would say that it is essential to develop a network of experienced individuals that you can learn as much as you can from, having an openness to learn and being adaptable will go a long way.
Tech & Trends: What emerging technologies or trends are you most excited about in the programmatic advertising space?Â
I’d say that AI and somehow curation (yes, again) are the hot topics right now in our space. I am following the advancements in AI quite closely though as it can go either way, I’ve seen a lot of advocates for this and a lot of publishers that are quite frankly terrified. We’ve already seen a lot of Adtech companies emerge that fully rely on AI and we use this to some extent at Aditude but I’m sure that there is a lot more to come over the next year.
Memorable Moments: Share a memorable or funny moment you've had while working at Aditude.Â
For me, it has to be the Disney trip that we took back in August 2024. Since our team had grown so quickly and everyone was quite spread out across the world, our CEO and founder, Jared decided to take us to his favorite place in the world. I’ve never been a fan of Disney but I have to say that I’ve now been converted, genuinely had a blast with everyone and it was amazing to meet the whole team in person!
Future Goals: Where do you see yourself and Aditude heading in the next few years? Any exciting plans or visions for the future?
I’m hoping that we can continue to grow and potentially establish ourselves as a leader in at least some of our core Geos in Europe (tough one I know), with myself taking on slightly more strategic roles. I’d love to get to a position where Aditude is being talked about during Internal meetings amongst everybody in the Industry, we are starting to hear some whispers of this already so I’m definitely excited for the future!
