Nathan Schubert, Global Publisher Partnerships, describes a typical day in his life working remotely from Baltimore.

Life at Aditude is a series about the individuals working behind the scenes at Aditude.

Meet the Aditude Team: Can you introduce yourself and describe your role at Aditude?
Hey, I’m Nathan! I'm all about connecting with potential partners, showing them the ropes of our products, and helping them see how Aditude can boost their ad revenue. It's a mix of reaching out to new leads, diving deep into strategy sessions with the team, and keeping everything running smoothly behind the scenes. Essentially, I'm here to make sure our clients get the best out of what we offer at Aditude.

Day in the Life: What does a typical day look like for you at Aditude? Walk us through your daily responsibilities.
A typical day kicks off with checking emails and Slack messages to see what's been brewing overnight. I make it a point to set tasks early on, which usually means following up with potential clients I've been chatting with. Then, it's onto prospecting and crafting personalized emails to new leads. Around mid-morning and early afternoon, I jump into team meetings where we hash out project updates and brainstorm solutions for any roadblocks.

A big part of my day revolves around calls with potential partners. It's all about showcasing our products, answering their questions, and guiding them through how we can work together smoothly. Wrapping up the day involves ticking off administrative tasks like updating our CRM, prepping reports, and gearing up for the next day's hustle.

Your Journey to Aditude: How did you end up working at Aditude? What inspired you to join the team?
The Team! I was already very familiar with Aditude from my time working with Clean.io (HUMAN). The transition to Aditude was driven by my desire to work with cutting-edge ad tech and the opportunity to be part of a team shaping the future of programmatic advertising. Aditude was already making waves in our industry when I first met a lot of the team about a year before joining. So, the idea of working with some of the best minds in the business and the potential to make a significant impact for publishers were major factors that inspired me to join.

Favorite Projects: What has been your most exciting or rewarding project at Aditude so far?
It's hard to pinpoint any one project in particular, but anytime we onboard a new partner, introduce them to the team, and get them up and running with our tech, it's incredibly rewarding. There’s nothing like making an immediate impact on a partner once we start the engine for them.

Challenges & Solutions: What are some common challenges you face in your role, and how do you overcome them?
A common challenge in my role is dealing with the complicated world of ad tech and making sure our clients get the technical side of our solutions. To tackle this, I aim for clear and simple communication, breaking down tricky concepts so they’re easy to grasp and meaningful for our partners. Plus, I work closely with our technical team to address any specific client concerns.

Team Collaboration: How does collaboration with other team members affect your work?
Collaboration is key in my role. Working with the ad ops team, developers, and sales colleagues helps us deliver complete solutions to our clients. We stay aligned and address issues quickly through dedicated Slack channels. This teamwork boosts our ability to provide top-notch service and innovative solutions.

Career Advice: What advice would you give someone looking to pursue a similar career?
If you want to pursue a career in ad tech or programmatic advertising, I advise you to stay curious and keep learning about the industry. Networking is essential, so build relationships with professionals and learn from their experiences. Be adaptable and open to new technologies and trends since the ad tech landscape constantly changes.

Tech & Trends: What emerging technologies or trends are you most excited about in the programmatic advertising space?
I'm particularly excited about the advancement of AI in programmatic advertising, as it promises to streamline processes, unlock new revenue optimization possibilities, and enhance strategic decision-making. At Aditude, we're bullish on implementing AI tools thoughtfully to empower publishers and drive innovation in ad operations.

Memorable Moments: Share a memorable or funny moment you've had while working at Aditude.
You might call this recency bias, but our founder, Jared, just hosted an incredible BBQ at his house. Since we work entirely remotely, it was a fantastic opportunity to connect with many of our partners and co-workers in person. It was a really laid-back event, and there's nothing better than enjoying great food and great company on a lovely summer evening.

Future Goals: Where do you see yourself and Aditude heading in the next few years? Any exciting plans or visions for the future?
In the next few years, I see myself continuing to grow with Aditude, taking on more strategic roles while connecting and learning from more people in the industry. As for Aditude, we aim to become the go-to ad tech solutions provider, always pushing the envelope and setting new standards. We've got some big plans, so I’m excited to see where the road leads.
